FIGHTING TV PIRACY
Prevention and legalization are the main methods of our activity.
We are inviting to active cooperation:
- rights holders (TV channels and producers of film and TV content), affected by the activities of illegal distributors
- illegal distributors themselves (TV pirates – IPTV, sharing access cards to channels and platforms, Stream platforms and Internet websites).
Do not be surprised, but that is exactly what it is!
We offer the following services in fighting TV piracy:
- Monitoring and legitimization of the range of IP TV services in different countries in Europe and the world;
- Investigation of the structure of pirate organizations and establishing particular individuals and legal entities behind these activities;
- Establishing contacts and mediating negotiations with unfamiliar distributors;
- Studying specific situation and finding a way to legalize illegally rebroadcast TV channels and content;
- Legal assistance in prosecuting TV pirates
In the last decade, with the development of Internet technology, the illegal rebroadcasting of thousands of television channels on the Internet has reached catastrophic proportions. Hundreds of companies offer Internet users paid viewing of TV channels, both on the screen of a personal computer, tablet or mobile device, and on the screen of a home TV set, selling to consumers special digital devices (setup boxes) for receiving TV channels.
The vast majority of these companies either do not pay royalties for rebroadcasting at all, or, by purchasing rights to a certain limited territory for a small fee, rebroadcast TV channels all over the world, in territories where these TV channels have no broadcast or advertising rights. Illegal distributors, more simply called TV pirates, make huge profits, while TV channels suffer multimillion losses.
Prevention
Our company has extensive experience in monitoring, investigating the structure and prevention of activities of such organizations. With the help of our highly qualified lawyers, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies of different countries, we have achieved significant success in the fight against TV piracy. A number of other similar organizations around Europe and the world are being investigated, such as OZO TV, which actively promotes its illegal paid services in the UK and European countries.
Legalization
The legalization method is the most efficient way. It allows TV pirates to avoid criminal prosecution for illegal activities and switch to legal methods of distribution, preserving their business and facilities. The rights holder (TV channels and content producers) expands territories and increases income from their distribution. Technical capabilities of most TV pirates allow to block rebroadcasting of certain content and advertisements, if the rights holder has no rights for these territories.
Each party only has to choose its own path.
